The general legal framework regulating the freedom of assembly (FOA) in the Republic of Macedonia remains liberal and comprehensive. This is mainly enabled by the right to FOA without notification and any restrictions guaranteed in the Constitution of the country. In practice, however, there is a different situation when it comes to the right to freely assemble.
