Tania Ivanova

Work position: President

Tania Ivanova is a senior researcher with over 25 years of experience across diverse fields. She joined Reactor – Research in Action in 2020 as a Program Coordinator, and was shortly appointed President.

Before joining Reactor, she was part of Ipsos, a globally recognised research company, where she acted as a Research Manager, specialising in qualitative research techniques and leading regional and international quantitative research projects. During her almost thirteen years with Ipsos, she had the opportunity to get involved in hundreds of diverse projects as a team leader, project manager and a senior researcher and analyst. 

Her research interests and experience span across policy assessment, civic engagement, political participation, good governance, education, youth and gender mainstreaming, care economy, gender-based violence, Roma and other marginalised groups. 

Her prior working experiences with different employers (public and private domain and international organisations) involve research, analytics, project management, public relations, marketing and communications, training, as well as EU (EAR) funded project implementation (2001-2007). 

Tania has studied at the “Blazhe Koneski” Faculty of Philology, at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, majoring in English Philology. She has also gone through numerous professional training programmes that cover diverse research-related areas, project management, EU communications and EU technical assistance, social, economic and business affairs, marketing and branding, as well as other related topics of relevance to ongoing tasks and duties.

At the moment, Tania holds a Chevening scholarship (MA Participation, Power and Social Change, University of Sussex – IDS), as well as finalising her MA in Public Policies at the Institute in Social Sciences and Humanities-Skopje.
