Neda Petkovska

Work position: Researcher

Neda Petkovska graduated in 2013 from the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje, holding a Bachelor in Arts degree in Gender Studies. In 2015 she graduated from the University of Bologna with a Master degree in Comparative and Postcolonial Literature and in 2016 from the Central European University in Budapest with a degree in Gender Studies.

After graduating she worked in the civil society sector in Croatia and then in the public sector of EU at the Institute for Gender Equality in Lithuania. From 2019 she is based in North Macedonia where she gained her working experience at the Friedrich Ebert Foundation working on social equality and justice projects, and at the Institute for Human Rights working on protection against discrimination for marginalized groups of people.

In Reactor, Neda works as a researcher on projects focused on gender equality and gender mainstreaming advocacy in the EU integration process. In her private time she likes to read feminist literature and produce theory focused on gender, class and race in the neoliberal era and social reproduction theory.
