Donor: UNICEF
Duration: August 2019 - July 2020

With determined efforts to contribute to improved education reforms in the country through interventions that improve teachers’ motivation and their performance, this collaboration proposes comprehensive policy intervention which combines the evidence-based design of policy interventions and impact-assessment of the interventions through advanced research method – randomized control trials (RCTs). More specifically, this collaboration proposes targeted interventions in the current teaching procedures and programmes introduced in selected schools, followed by a comprehensive impact assessment of the policy effects by employing RCTs as an effective research method for development and assessment of public policies impact. The overall objective of the research is to provide evidence-based insight and impact-assessment of newly introduced policy interventions aiming to improve the motivation and performance of teachers, leading to improved education quality in schools.
