Reactor’s Grant Manager, Ana Azgour, attended the Financial Support to Third Parties (FSTP) regional workshop in Belgrade on 6th and 7th December 2022, organized by EU TACSO 3 project.
FSTP is an instrument through which the EU provides funding to one (larger and more experienced) organization, as a main grant applicant, which then in turn does re-granting to smaller CSO’s and grassroot organizations, in order for them to help achieving the objectives of the main action, while building their capacities at the same time.
The purpose of this workshop was to support the capacity building activities of key FSTP actors from the Western Balkans and Turkey region, by gathering around 50 participants from CSOs who are managing the implementation of such projects, as well as representatives from EU delegations from the region and EU TACSO 3 experts. By presenting and discussing different experiences and practices, the aim was to raise awareness, educate and support the participants, as well as encourage networking amongst them. The topics discussed included everything from planning and implementation of the projects, through assessment and selection of third parties, to development of capacity building activities, monitoring and reporting procedures.
